Welcome to the Hide the Skunk website (the “Hide the Skunk Site” or the “Site”).

By placing an order with Hide the Skunk (“Hide the Skunk,” “we,” “us” or “our”) for products sold on the Site (“Products”), you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”). Please read these T&Cs carefully and, if you are unhappy with any aspect, you should contact us before placing an order.

We may amend these T&Cs from time to time. Please look at the top of this page to see when these T&Cs were last updated. Every time you order Products from us, the T&Cs in force at the time of your order will apply to the contract between you and us. If we have to revise these T&Cs and the revision materially impacts your order, we will contact you to give you reasonable advance notice and let you know how to cancel the contract if you are not satisfied with the changes.

3. Eligibility

To purchase through the Site or use certain features, you may be required to register. Registration may require providing your name, phone number, email address, and accurate billing information.

By registering or placing an order, you represent and warrant that:

• All registration information provided is true, accurate, current and complete;

• You are at least 18 years old;

• The payment details you provide are valid and you are the authorized cardholder or account holder.

If your registration details change, you must update your account promptly.

4. Pricing Policy

We make every effort to ensure the details, descriptions and prices of Products are correct at the time of publishing. However, we will only accept orders if there are no material errors.

• Prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD), inclusive of applicable sales tax, and exclusive of delivery charges.

• The total cost of your order will be the price of the Products plus delivery charges as set out during checkout.

• We will not charge your payment method until Products are ready for dispatch.

• Items in your cart will always reflect the most up-to-date price shown on the Product detail page.

5. Availability

All Products are subject to availability. Validly stated prices remain in effect while the Product is available or as otherwise stated on the Site. We will notify you as soon as possible if an ordered Product is unavailable.

6. Ordering Errors

You may correct errors on your order up until you click “Submit Order” on the final page of checkout.

7. Acknowledgement and Acceptance of Your Order

• We will acknowledge receipt of your order by email, providing you with an order number.

• A legally binding contract between you and us is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation email or when the Products are shipped, whichever comes first (“Contract”).

• If we are unable to fulfill your order, we will contact you by email or phone.

8. Pre-Orders

If we offer pre-orders, Hide the Skunk reserves the right to cancel or suspend any pre-order in cases such as stock shortages or payment authorization issues.

9. Delivery

We deliver within Canada. Delivery times will be indicated during checkout and typically range between 3–8 business days from the date of the Contract.

• Working days exclude weekends and public holidays.

• Free delivery offers, when available, apply to standard shipping only.

• Risk in the Products passes to you upon delivery.

10. Inspection

You should inspect the Products upon receipt and check them against your order. Unless you notify us promptly of any issues, you will be deemed to have accepted the Products.

11. Payment

Payment may be made by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, or other methods as displayed at checkout.

• Payment will be debited once your order is ready for dispatch.

• You confirm that the payment method used belongs to you.

• If your payment provider refuses authorization, we are not responsible for delay or non-delivery.

• Ownership of Products transfers to you once full payment has been received.

12. Your Cancellation Rights

As a consumer in Canada, you have the right to cancel a Contract within 14 days of delivery for a refund, provided the Products are returned unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.

Exemptions: You may not return Products that are:

• Custom-made or personalized;

• Opened, used, or not suitable for return due to health, safety, or hygiene reasons (including incense sticks once opened).

To cancel, email indi@hidetheskunk.com with your order details. Products must be returned within 14 days of cancellation notice. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the Products are defective or incorrect.

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned Products.

13. Defective or Non-Conforming Products

We are committed to delivering Products that conform to your order. If a Product is defective, damaged, or not as described:

• You may request a replacement, repair, or refund.

• Return shipping for defective items will be covered by us.

• Please email indi@hidetheskunk.com to arrange returns or replacements.

Your statutory rights under Canadian consumer protection law remain unaffected.

14. Our Liability for Loss or Damage

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by us. We are not liable for:

• Any losses not caused by our breach;

• Any business losses, including lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities;

• Improper use of the Products (including fire hazards caused by misuse).

We supply Products for domestic and personal use only.

16. Transfer of Rights

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these T&Cs to another organization. You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our prior written consent.

17. Law, Jurisdiction and Language

These T&Cs, the Site, and any contracts entered into as a result of your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.

All contracts are concluded in English.
